Medical Mission No. 3: We've treated over 1,250 women, children and men in need of medical attention from communities near and far from our MaryCare clinic.
WE DID IT!
Because of your generous donations in time, prayers and money, the people here and from all of the neighboring communities have had access to desperately needed medical care and medicines they would not have otherwise had.
They say that God uses a human face to fulfill his mission. "I have seen this with my own eyes" says Fr. Emmanuel, "from those of you back home to the wonderful professionals and laymen who have volunteered their time and services here — so many many people have had their prayers answered."
ANNE BATES
MaryCare was the dream of the great visionary, Anne Bates, who met a searching Fr. Emmanuel in Argentina years ago. She promptly arranged for his transportation to America where he went on to study, become a parish priest, and later help to make Anne's dream a reality.
Anne’s work included digging wells for drinking water, medical missions, building a Marycare Health Center, providing scholarships, and aiding the poor.
1,256 PEOPLE WALKED THROUGH THESE GATES AND GOT THE MEDICAL ATTENTION THEY DESPERATELY NEEDED.
Remembering the pledge he made to her during her last hours, Fr. Emmanuel has organized MaryCare's third medical mission in his home town and neighboring communities in Nigeria.

Waiting in line never felt so good. Imagine sitting for hours in 90 degree heat, or walking for days to get to our clinic. People came from miles around to pass through our gates for the chance to be seen by our doctors. No one is turned-back, all are welcome. Their smiles tell us all we need to know.
